Flowers of Hawaii

Many plants are identified as flowers of Hawaii. These include the state’s official flower and the official flowers for each island. Flowers are a large part of the Hawaiian lifestyle.

One of the most well-known flowers of Hawaii is the yellow hibiscus. It is the official state flower of the islands. Hibiscus plants produce beautiful flowers that can be seen throughout the islands.

Another of the well-know flowers of Hawaii is the pua aloalo. It is the only flower that is not native to the area that is recognized as an official flower. The pua aloalo is actually native to the Asian and pacific island region.
