Hawaiian flowers FAQs

I have an indoor orchid plant. Where should I place it in my home?

There are two main places for an orchid in your home. Try to place it near a bathroom or a kitchen. This is because the orchid plant needs humidity for proper growth. Also, be sure to put the plant in a spot that receives indirect sunlight.

I want to plant some hibiscus flowers outdoors. What type of environment do they need? What type of soil should I use?

Hibiscus flowers are fairly easy to grow. They just need an area with rich and loose soil and good drainage. Some hibiscus flowers need full sun for proper growth. Others can grow in partial sun or full sun and achieve optimal growth.

I’m having problems with my fern tree, I am wondering if it is in the wrong area. What is the ideal environment for a fern tree?

Fern trees like a specific environment. The area that they are in needs to be mostly shading, but can have partial indirect sunlight. Optimal soil for a fern tree is a combination of peet moss and organic soil. Also, a fern should be kept moderately wet at all times.
